March Film at The Village Bakery

March 30, 2015

Earlier in March. I ordered five rolls of film, four of which are still cooling in my fridge. The fifth was promptly loaded in my camera. My plan this year was to shoot a roll of film each month, which seemed simple enough. Then January and February got insanely busy and slipped away with no film photographs.

As much as I like digital photography (and need it for my business), film is still my one true love. It felt great to carry around my little Pentax this month. It felt great to drop my off my film and say hello to my friends at the camera shop. It felt great to flip through what came of March. Film, I do so love you!

A roll of film in a month ends up being kind of random, and I have lots of photos left to share. But a good place to start is with these, which I shot last week at The Village Bakery on an afternoon coffee date with my friend Michelle (who makes the yummiest cakes!).

We chatted for about two hours about life and business and Instagram. It was a refreshing afternoon. When the cafe had cleared out a bit, I clicked around. It’s gorgeous inside and the french toast lattes are to die for.

**This is month four of my twelve months of film (part of my 33 things project). See previous months’ film here. Thanks for looking!
