It’s been an incredible week. My daughter was off Monday and Tuesday, so we took it easy. We met friends for play dates and took naps and soaked up the sun (it was sunny and 65 on Tuesday!). I realized how much I miss her now that she’s gone all day at kindergarten. Like I’ve been aching over it — I had no clue. I miss doing projects together during the day and having spur-of-the-moment adventures. I just miss her. But without kindergarten, I would have a much harder time finding time for work (and Adam for studying), so it’s a trade off.
I’ve been making an absurd amount of lists (I have one in practically every room of the house) and so many ideas for things I want to do. Sometimes it’s overwhelming, but having lists and breaking everything into itty bitty steps makes it all seem possible. I’m grateful for that.
This weekend I’ll be catching up on my Project Life album (I’m a month behind!) and knitting (a scarf for me or maybe a hat for Josh) and reading the book for next weekend’s book club meeting. Should be a low-key weekend. And a cold one. Bundle up, folks!
Have a great weekend!
