December in Film

January 7, 2015

lindsay crandall photography rochester, ny photographer

Oh, December. So well documented in the December Photo Project, but then there were those last few days. Those days were saved for film, black and white film — Kodak CN400BW film, to be exact, which is my favorite black and white because of its high contrast and the fact that it’s C-41 and can be processed with color film at my local camera shop. Win-win!

The end of December was strange weather-wise. We had mild weather, followed by a snowstorm, followed by more mild weather, followed by more snow. So one day we were out for a walk and the next we were pummeled with a few inches of snow. Never a dull moment, I suppose.

This is month three of my twelve months of film (part of my 33 things project). See previous months’ film here. Thanks for looking!

Had to comment on the last, snowy neighborhood picture, which looks so very quiet and cozy. I never think to photograph my own street but I think it could be a charming remembrance…
