I had hoped to share these photos two weeks ago. But when I dropped my 120 film off at the local camera shop, I learned that they no longer process 120 film in house and it had to be shipped off somewhere. Oh, and it was going to cost about five dollars more. Not awesome news, but I did finally get my film back this weekend and I kind of like it.
Truth be told, the first two photos in this roll had already been shot and I couldn’t even remember when (turns out it was over the summer). So, I only took ten photos (with 120 film, there’s a mere twelve photos per roll) this November, all with my Holga 120 toy camera. I took all of them the day before Thanksgiving, on a dark and cloudy day when my family walked through one of our favorite parks.
I like these a lot. They are so dark and spare and haunting — different from what I usually shoot! And this marks month two of my twelve months of film (part of my 33 things project). See last month’s photos here and here. Thanks for looking!
